Our incredible friend Rachel recently celebrated another year around the sun and we had such a fun girl’s night to celebrate her. While we don’t need an excuse for a party that is super colorful, girly and involves glitter crowns, celebrating such a good friend makes it that much better!
Rachel is one of those friends that you look to in times of both celebration and sorrow. She always manages to know what to say, and we are so thankful to have her in our lives!
Here is how we celebrated the birthday girl!
Since we were going on a pre-dinner hike we wanted to keep things simple. We decided to do grilled cheese, soup, salad and of course cake! - grilled cheese fillers (avocado, pesto, tomato, pear, more cheese, the list goes on and on!)
- homemade Christina’s tomato soup
- the Haven tomato soup
- amazing farm fresh salad
- rhubarb cake (so delicious – thanks simone!)

We hiked up Heidelberg and had quite a fun time with glitter birthday crowns, a selfie stick and some attempted jumping…
